Lainna Fader

Lainna Fader is a writer from Los Angeles who studied Politics and Russian Studies at Occidental College. She spent three years at Cinefamily, where she was able to use her lifelong love of film to bring some of the strangest and most beautiful films of all time to local audiences as Director of Development. She is currently Associate Publisher and Film Editor of L.A. RECORD, a quarterly music/arts magazine, and a contributor to LA Weekly, OC Weekly, and KPCC's Off-Ramp.

In the absolute film the artist creates a world of color, form, sound, and movement, in which the elements are in a state of controllable flux - the two materials, visual and aural, being subject to any conceivable inter-relation and modification.
